I'm looking to adopt a baby

Hello, my name is Shoshana. Thank you so much for taking a moment to read through my profile and consider if I may be the person you are looking to find.

I cannot begin to imagine what your journey is like and hope that you are given every support and opportunity available. If you have come to a place where you feel as though an adoption plan is the right choice for you and your child, I would love to take a few moments to tell you why I am hoping to adopt and what that future might look like.

Growing up, when other little girls were thinking about their weddings, I was thinking about being a mommy. Though I have never met my “Mr. Right,” my hope of becoming a parent has never diminished. As many friends and then my sister became pregnant, I was overjoyed for them but always felt a pang in my heart. It was as though there was an empty space calling to be filled by a child that I could love and care for. I have had several friends become single mothers by choice over the past few years, which got me thinking more seriously about my own situation. After taking time to weigh the factors and be sure that I felt I had the resources to be a single parent, I am confident in my decision to move forward with adoption. I am beyond excited for the future and hope to welcome a child and their birth family into my life.
